What are CE credits?
CE credits are an education requirement if you want to pursue a career in healthcare. How many CE credits will you need?
If you want to become a radiologic technologist, you will need to earn 24 credits every two years. That two-year period is referred to as a biennium, and it is determined by your birth month.

Can I transfer the CE credits to my next reporting period?
If you earn more CE credits than the number required, you won’t be able to transfer those credits to your next reporting period. The ARRT along with most state radiation control agencies won’t make that possible. Just do your best to stick to the number of CE credits you need to earn during your biennium period or take the X-Ray CE courses with the mindset that you’re learning knowledge you can put to good and practical use.
